Choose Your Preferred Browser With Browser Chooser
As the browser war is in full swing ,ie Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and the latest Opera 10 , many of us are using more than one browser.I run three browsers on my computer. How many web browsers do you run on your computer?
Even though you have multiple browsers, Windows allow you to keep only one as default. When you try to open a web page saved on your hard disk or click a URL on a PDF file the page will always open in the browser you have assigned as default. So it is hard for you to decide on which browser that you’re going to put as default browser.
Browser Chooser is a tiny tool acting as the default browser gives you the flexibility of choosing what browser to open the link in. It allows you to choose what browser to use for any given task. It is developed in VB.Net and geared towards Windows Vista and Windows 7.
You have to add all browsers you would like the ballot screen to show , manually first. You cannot add more than 4 browsers to the ballot screen.
After adding all browsers, click on the “Miscellaneous” tab and then click the “Make default browser” button to add the default browser. So when you click on a URL this will giving you the flexibility of choosing whichever browser you want to use for the session.
