Msconfig Clean Up - A Free Tool To Clean Up Disabled Items In Msconfig

Most people know that the more programs you have running on your computer at once, the more likely it is that your computer will either run slowly or even crash. What most people don't know is that every time you boot your computer a whole mess of "hidden" programs load in the background. Some of these hidden programs are essential, but most aren't. Turning off some of these hidden programs can significantly increase your computer's performance and reliability.

 

Disabling these programs will help your computer boot faster and crash less.To manually remove this entries  :-

 

  • Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.
  • Click a tab: System.ini, Win.ini, Boot.ini, Services, or Startup.
  • Select or clear the available settings.
  • Click OK.
  • Restart your computer.
  •

    MSConfig would be a perfect startup manager.Unfortunately you can only disable items but they remain in the list like this.

    This is where MSConfig Cleanup comes in!.It scans the startup configurations and allows you to remove any item that has been previously disabled via MSConfig.This tool is very easy to use you just need to install it and run, it will show the list of all disabled items.

    Just select all to remove from registry.Click Delete button after selecting the disabled startup registry item it will be deleted from msconfig automatically.
