Facebook Launches 'Facebook Live' Video Channel

Facebook  introduced  embedded Live video streams right into its Social network  on Friday,intended to keep users updated on what's happening at the social-networking site.Facebook live is powered by Livestream.com, will feature videos from Facebook staff and is not intended as a platform for Facebook users to showcase their own videos .8-14-2010 22-20-44

 

Various types of embeds  are  available   like  the Player widget, the Video Library widget and the Chat widget. Users will also be able to share videos on Twitter, Google Buzz, MySpace, Delicious, Digg and via email with special sharing buttons.It  will include an "Ask a Question" feature, which will let the  viewers submit questions to a moderator.According to Zuckerberg Facebook Marketing Manager , the Facebook Live channel will probably have one or two chats a week at first, but it could adjust do more or less in the future, based on user feedback.
