ShowMyPC is a free remote support software that allows its users to access a home or office PC remotely. With this tool you can work on and print files, share them and also use the programs installed on the host computer.It uses a technology called VNC and the connection and data transmission is performed safely, with SSH. It is a java based application and so can run on Windows or Linux based PCs as well as Macs.
The remote user needs to just download the standalone ShowMyPC application and can access your computer with just a password (no IP address needed). The temporary session password is automatically generated when you start the viewing session and must be provided to the remote user by email, phone or other means.
