Facebook Now in Six Indian Languages

Have you ever thought of connecting with your friends  on social network sites in your own language?.Facebook, the second most popular networking site in India has launched Indian language interface on Thursday. With the help of the new interface, people can navigate Facebook in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Malayalam.Users can change language settings through the 'settings' tab or through the language option on their Facebook homepage.

By introducing this Facebook is expecting to further increase its user base.This new move by  Facebook will help it combat with Google's Orkut, but there  is a drawback - there is no transliteration available.
