Google has just launched a new “search options” feature .While you search, you can see a link “Show options”, which will expand to the the left-hand sidebar."Show options" is a link on search-result pages, offering such filters as videos, forums, and reviews. You can imagesfilter your search by different types of results (videos, forums, and reviews), by time  (recent, past 24 hours, past week, past year), as well as seeing related searches, a “wonder wheel” view, or a timeline view.Earlier, you had to do this in Advanced search, which was a pain and took too many clicks.

The Search Options panel also gives you the ability to view your results in new ways. One view gives you more information about each result, including images as well as text, while others let you explore and iterate your search in different ways.

Time line option lets a user group results by when they appeared and drill down to specific points in time."Wonder wheel" option graphically groups results in a wheel formation, with the searched topic in the center and linked, related subjects on the spokes.
