Updates to Contacts and a (Slightly) New Look for Gmail
Google just launched a revamped interface for Gmail with new contacts manager, which is 100 times better than the earlier one.The new contact manager is fast and easier to use.The new Contacts section of Gmail has a more prominent link ,which can be accessible from a shifted upper left-hand menu, and there’s an updated “Compose mail” button .
Earlier managing contacts was definitely a pain and contacts interface was mediocre. The new contacts manager now supports Keyboard shortcuts, sorting by name, custom labels for contact fields, ability to undo changes you made and automatic saving just like Gmail compose among other things.
